Progressing sustainable construction in Cornwall

We would like to invite you to our free ‘Achieving Innovation’ Breakfast Meeting on Friday 29th September @ Health and Wellbeing Innovation Centre, Truro hosted by the Building Research Establishment (BRE) and in association with Cornwall LEP & Cornwall New Energy.

Sustainable growth is a core LEP principle.  The LEP Construction Strategy 2014-2020 highlighted the requirement to build a specialism for sustainable construction in Cornwall.

This series of events focuses on supporting Cornwall’s Construction Industry from the Client all the way through the supply chain, to promote sustainable construction and raise the bar on the delivery of energy efficient buildings through innovation.

Why attend?

Aimed at public and private sector clients who have an interest in new construction, refurbishment or retrofit in Cornwall & Isles of Scilly. This breakfast meeting will showcase a variety of case studies that demonstrate projects with high ambitions for low carbon and energy efficiency technologies, focusing on lessons learnt and added value to both owners and occupiers. Included will be an information exchange and offer of free support from Cornwall New Energy for clients requiring specific project assistance or looking for the opportunity to be involved in an ‘Enabling Innovation’ pilot.
