Launch of the St Austell Place Story

James Staughton (St Austell Brewery) and the St Austell Bay Economic Forum (SABEF) are looking forward to the launch of the St Austell Place Story on 9th May, 7.45 – 9.30am at St Austell College, following the postponement earlier this year.

The event is to launch a place shaping strategy for St Austell. Over the past few months, SABEF has been developing an ambitious place story that:

  • Identifies what makes St Austell special
  • Develops an umbrella brand
  • Creates a new model of place leadership
This will raise the profile of the St Austell area to become the place to work, live, visit and invest in. At this breakfast event you will find out how you can contribute, get involved and benefit from this place shaping strategy.

Hear from the following:

  • James Staughton, Chairman of SABEF and Chief Executive of St Austell Brewery
  • Kate Kennally, Chief Executive, Cornwall Council
  • Chris Taylor, Head of Cornwall College, St Austell
