Board Director Register of Interests
There is a requirement for directors to register declarations of interests in accordance with the Companies Act 2006. The Companies Act 2006 requires directors to avoid situations in which a director “has (or can have) a direct or indirect interest that conflicts, or possibly may conflict, with the interests of the company”.
As a result of the Mary Ney Review into LEP governance and transparency, the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government issued a new bespoke register of interest proforma for the collection and publication of the information which ensures all categories of interest are systematically considered.
These forms will be held by the LEP Executive and will be updated annually; as outlined in our Assurance Framework.
