EU Growth Programme

The Cornwall and Isles of Scilly (CIoS) Growth Programme is open for business and the latest information on funding can be found below. This European Programme will run until 2020 and is worth around 600 million euros.

The money comes from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the European Social Fund (ESF) and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD). It is invested in line with the priorities set out in the CIoS ESIF ITI Strategy, that aligns with the LEP's Strategic Economic Plan (Vision 2030) and focuses on the themes of Future Economy, Growth for Business and Conditions for Growth.

EU Structural and Investment Funds

The CIoS LEP led the development of the underpinning strategic direction for 2014-2020 European funds in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. We worked closely with a wide range of people including the business community, voluntary groups and public sector to develop a strategy fit for purpose for EU funding – as well as aligning to the original SEP. We have continued to support the European funding partnership in Cornwall to develop a strong evidence base to support the delivery of this strategy, which you will find in our archives section.

The responsibility of overseeing the EU Programmes in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly rests with National Government Departments, but the CIoS LEP and other local partners continue to influence the delivery of EU Programmes through locally-based work groups and an investment board.
