Aerohub at Cornwall Airport Newquay
The Aerohub Enterprise Zone offers two investment-ready development sites dedicated to cutting-edge aerospace and space businesses.
Covering both Cornwall Airport Newquay and Goonhilly Earth Station, both sites have significant development land and access to development support. There is no better offer in the South West of the UK for space and aerospace business.
We led a successful bid to create the Enterprise Zone, encouraging businesses within the aerospace and space industry to locate and spawn opportunities for other supporting businesses. Only LEP's on behalf of their partners, were able to bid for an Enterprise Zone. As a business-led partnership with a goal of driving sustainable economic growth across local economic areas, LEP’s are ideally placed to drive Enterprise Zones forward.
Successful zones have the opportunity to attract investment, developments and jobs through a combination of business rate discounts worth up to £275,000 over five years, simplified planning procedures that can accelerate development timeframes and superfast broadband links.
