Better Businesses for All can now access the new Business Regulatory
Support service through the Cornwall
and Isles of Scilly Growth Hub. Delivered through
Better Business for All, this new Cornwall Council services gives
businesses a single point of contact for advice on regulations, from food hygiene
and licensing to planning and fire safety.
Better Business for All is part of a national government initiative to reduce the regulatory burden on business. It is endorsed by Regulatory Delivery, which is part of the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy.
The Cornwall and Isles of Scilly LEP was selected as one of the 11 early adopters of the scheme and successfully bid for grant funding to get the project off the ground.
Cornwall's Better Business for All (BBfA) programme was recognised nationally when it won the Partnership Award at the Government’s inaugural BBFA Awards in March 2016.
