Dean Kelly - Project Manager

MACE

I became an Enterprise Adviser because, in short, I felt let down by the careers advisers (or lack of) at my secondary school. I was lead to believe I wasn’t particularly academic however I am of the opinion that once you find something that interests you with enough effort you will thrive. I left school with minimal GCSE’s however went on to obtain a first class honours in my construction management degree.

I do believe in the next generations. It is down to them to create a brighter future. It is our responsibility to make sure they will have all what they need to do so. As we are already history we have to embrace, seize the moment and make the most of it to positively improve children's well-being and emotional heritage.

SAMWORTH BROTHERS – KENSEY FOODS

I grew up in Saltash and between 1985 and 1990 I attended what was then Saltash Comprehensive. My school years weren’t my best, I didn’t feel inspired and I had no patience for the subjects I didn’t enjoy. Thankfully I was good at a handful of subjects and I left after year 11 with some GCSEs and a keen desire to get out into the world of work, earn money and be independent.
