Cornwall & Isles of Scilly – Space Action Plan 2018-2030

We have published a Space Action Plan looking at how our region can share in the year-on-year growth of the global space economy, estimated to be worth £400 billion annually by 2030.

We plan to create 1,000 space technology jobs by 2025, and to double that by 2030. This could generate a further 8,000 jobs in the space supply chain, and grow our economy by over £1 billion.

We have set out this vision in ‘Human Centred Space’, our Space Action Plan to 2030. You can view the summary document below.

We’d like to hear the views of the business community about how we can work together to realise that vision. Please let us have your thoughts via enquiries@cioslep.com.

The UK is hoping to capture 10% of that market, presenting a huge opportunity for Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly to harness our existing assets to be at the forefront of the space revolution.
